Amish Guest Farmhouse Rental

Conveniently located about 12 minutes from both Geneva and Penn Yan
on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail.

In 2012, the property was purchased by a local horse-and-buggy Mennonite family. The Weavers and their seven children are working each day to turn this farm and home into a nostalgic haven of rest for the world-weary travelers and for those who long for a more simple life. While there is WiFi connection in the home, the Weaver family encourages visitors to hike, bike, and enjoy nature. There are herds of deer, friendly small animals, as well as many kinds of birds, and maybe a rare glimpse of a coyote. With prior permission, visitors may enjoy most of the privacy of the farm’s 85 acres, including a creek and gorge. The farm boasts a spacious front yard that borders Route 14, and the only remaining working railroad in the region. Trains pass slowly once a day, creating a nostalgic twist to days gone by. Enjoy a show of the morning sunrise or an afternoon picnic, complete with gorgeous lake views, from the spacious side porch. The home offers a spacious
3, 500  square feet, and can easily accommodate approximately 20 people. Enjoy gathering with friends and family in the beautiful wood-furnished great room around the cozy fireplace.
The updated kitchen offers enough space to cook a feast with a new six-burner cook-top, double wall oven, stainless steel dishwasher, garbage disposal, large walk-in pantry, microwave, granite countertops and a large stainless steel fridge and freezer. The Weaver family has been involved in greeting visitors for the past 18 years with the handmade quits they’ve designed and sold all over the world. The family currently runs a small quilting studio out of the barn located on the property that features their charming homemade Amish quilts, homemade jams & jellies and homegrown vegetables when they’re in season. To ensure the comfort and privacy of our guests, vacation rental parking is separate from the rest of the farm.
The home is decorated with local hand-stitched quilts, giving it a cozy old-fashioned feel.
Give us a call to book your dream vacation in the beautiful Finger Lakes!
This farm house is also available and perfect for weddings, reunions, church group retreats,
quilting & sewing retreats, picnics and so much more!
