Amish Guest Farmhouse Longing for a more simple way of life? Go back to a time where the horse and buggies were for real. When there was not a big screen TV filled with negative news. Where you can pet a pony and pick a watermelon right off the vine.
Go back…to Weaver View Farms, an 85 acre farm located only a few hundred yards from the west shore of Seneca Lake, in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York.
The farm has been in operation since the early 1800’s. Today it is owned by a horse and buggy Mennonite family that has turned it into a haven of rest for world weary travelers.
Having welcomed guests from around the globe, many folks come back year after year, not as strangers, but as friends.

For the past 30 years, the Weaver family has been designing and making Amish quilts to sell. Their prize-winning work has been featured in Smithsonian Magazine. Today, they ship quilts to all parts of the world. Customers are awed to see quilts hung from the rafters of this 1800’s dairy barn.
Fabric lovers are delighted to find top quality cotton quilting fabrics from homespun to batiks, Kona solids to lake inspired nautical prints; the barn has its own stash.
Honey is produced by bees living on the farm. Visitors can enjoy a serene walk to the beehives and enjoy selecting honey, jams, jellies, relishes, salsa, and pickled jars of almost everything they can imagine. Local dairy cows produce the cheese that is for sale in the barn.
Children love to feed the chickens and sometimes, gather their own eggs.
Grandmothers enjoy the handmade baby bonnets, dresses and aprons, as well as, the wooden toys.
